Educational Inclusion promotes equal opportunities for all pupils, whatever their age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, health, ability, disability, attainment, background etc. It pays particular attention to the provision made for, and the achievement of, different groups of pupils within a school and any pupils who are at risk of disaffection and exclusion.
Inclusion Quality Mark provides schools with a nationally recognised framework to guide their inclusion journey. The IQM team help schools to evaluate and measure how they are performing; empowering them to improve and grow. When they are successful, we recognise their achievement through a system of highly valued awards which provide external validation of their inclusive status.
IQM has the largest number of inclusion experts in the UK. We have developed a series of cluster groups throughout the UK for those schools holding Centre of Excellence and Flagship School awards. Facilitated by an IQM Ambassador, the purposes of these clusters are to share resources, good practice, ideas, experiences, a forum to ask and answer questions and provide advice and support for each other based on the wealth of experience within these clusters.
