Just over three years ago we started our Youth Performance Group so that we could develop the skills of children from our general classes who we thought showed special aptitude and enthusiasm with a view to developing acts for performance.  This year Tuyo were invited to the National Youth Circus Event at National Centre for Circus Arts in London and four young people  were selected for a weekend of workshops and to perform in the cabaret show.

A year ago we started a Junior Performance Group. The idea was that the younger group would learn the same skills as the original performance group and eventually amalgamate with the older ones. Due to the pandemic that amalgamation has had to happen much sooner than expected. The restrictions on hand supporting and equipment quarantine have reduced the number of classes we can offer and for safety we currently only teach regular sessions to one group of the most able children.  Xxxxxx should have done his first performances this year but sadly everything was cancelled. We are hoping for more luck in 2021.
